I have an 11-year-old daughter and definitely need some holiday gift ideas. So far I've gotten her the Project Runway Season 5 DVD. That's as far as I've gotten. I've gotten some ideas from the North Pole Holiday Guide for other people on my list -- so you may want to check that out to get started too. But let us know...

An 11yo old? I can barely remember being that age hahahaha. My DS is only 22 months old. We're getting him clothes and stuff he needs like new shoes and coat. Toy wise he's getting the original Tickle Me Elmo, Chuck the Talking Truck, and the motorized John Deer Tractor, all from Walmart. I'm letting the grandparents go crazy buying him toys. I learned my lesson from last year, He's the first grand baby and they went crazy. I had no room in his bedroom. So today I cleaned out his old clothes and toys and now Im ready for Santa!

I also have an eleven year old daughter. Im getting her a drumset because she plays them at school and  also a barns and nobles gift card. The only other thing she asked for was vid games for her DS. Ill probably throw in some little stuff so it looks better under the tree:)

I like your idea Ginger.  Well my kids are a little older then what it sounds like the majority of the kids in this subject are.
Mine are
24--son----- I have not a clue! could use some help there. He's job hopping wont come home to live so sleeps on the couch of a friends mom. (She drinks and parties with the young crowd)
22--girl----- well I just picked up the cutiest pair of pj's and a cute sweater from Areopistal. Then she'll prob get cash (single mommy with 20 month old.)
16--girl-----getting a didgital camera and purse. Then prob clothes. We just painted her room and did some work in there.
15--girl-----getting a didgital camera and stuff to do nails (she even does acrilic, she's pretty good too) and clothes. oh and stand up mirror for her room.

Now for my grandson (he'll be 22 months for x-mas)-----Got him a red wagen to sit in on his way to the park. a red fire truck little sofa thing the pulls out to a nap bed.  6 outfits and a sweater jacket. some reading/pictures books. Big Legos And what ever else I come across that catches my eye...lol............what?
The dog a new doggie door and toys.----The cat a new colar and treats

P.S. If anyone asks I want little sparkly things.:)

Great idea for an 11-year-old. Can you post a link to the camera you're referring to when you get a second? Thanks!
